Campaign Statements:
Apathy, lack of awareness and action by the people, and failure of elected leaders to abide by their oath to uphold and protect the Constitution, Bill of Rights and principles espoused in the Declaration of Independence, have caused our country to become a heavily in debt and to lose much sovereignty, power and freedoms. I believe that many of our elected leaders:
- are more concerned about global world affairs than our own state and nation;
- cater to big business, political action committees and lobbyists instead of the people;
- spend much of their time working to STAY in office;
- may have paybacks and favors to fulfill.
Thus, we are now in a very critical situation. I also believe that our national Constitution hangs by a
thread. We must become educated and united to Constitutional principles that the Founders knew or we will soon become a third-world socialist country. As state representative, I pledge to work solely for the people of Utah, to protect our right to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness without government “red tape”, and to do all I can to maintain and restore freedom in whatever peaceful, legal and reasonable manner possible.
